Arm Publishes 2024 Sustainable Business Report
Arm’s ongoing commitment to power-efficient technology innovation is a vital part of the company’s mission. This is more relevant than ever in today’s age of AI where computing demands are accelerating to unprecedented rates.
Now more than ever, we need to consider the impacts of technology on people and the planet, and Arm remains committed to finding ways to reduce power demands from AI. This is not only important in the context of the ongoing climate crisis, but also crucial if we are to achieve life-changing societal breakthroughs and realize the true potential and benefits of AI.
We are committed to investing in power-efficient technologies of the future and reducing our own environmental footprint, investing in partnerships and research that will help to ensure that no one is excluded from the benefits our technologies can provide. This is reflected in the range of sustainability and social impact achievements that are set out in the infographic below.
More information about these achievements can be found in the Arm Sustainable Business report for 2024, which aims to be a comprehensive source of information on how Arm positively impacts the environment, our people, and society.
It sets out how Arm is laying the foundations to support a transition to a cleaner, more efficient, fairer, more connected world, and how we expect our initiatives to evolve over the coming year. The report also details our responsibilities to ensure that, to the extent possible, Arm’s influence on the world is positive, and how these are built into operations across our organization, from our industry-leading power-efficient technologies to our workforce made up of nearly 8,000 people.
Key sustainability progress for the financial year ended March 31, 2024 (FYE24) is reported with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021 Universal Standards, in line with reporting best practices.
